Melamine MDF and HPL MDF is widely used for furniture, interior decoration and wood flooring. With good properties, such as, acid & alkali resistant, heat resistant, easy fabricability, anti-static, easy cleaning, long-lasting and no seasonal effect. |
E0, E1, and E2 refer to the standards for the amount of formaldehyde released in the board. The E0 level standard is the highest, with formaldehyde release less than 0.5mg/L; the E1 level standard is the second, with the formaldehyde release amount less than 1.5mg/L; the E2 level standard Formaldehyde emission is less than 5mg/L.
Plain MDF knowledge:material: poplar and other wood fiber combi (common and hot sale ) , poplar , pine , pine and other wood fiber combi . After plain MDF is calendered, the MDF is hot-pressed or cold-pressed with a pressure roller in order to improve the surface finish of the MDF. The sanding of melamine MDF is to make the surface of the board smooth and increase the strength of the surface, and the thickness is uniform, suitable for various veneering processes. There are two kinds of MDF production equipment, one is the production of flat pressing line equipment (the thickness of the board is uniform, the surface of the board is flat, the thickness error of the diagonal line of the board is almost no, the board has no burr, the price will be higher than that of multi-layer line equipment The price of production is higher) The other is the production of multi-layer line equipment. In general, 0.8mm-3mm boards are usually produced by flat pressing equipment, and the density is usually above 720Kg/m. 9-22mm MDF boards can be produced by multi-layer line equipment and flat pressing equipment. The density is usually above 600Kg/m3. If the thickness of the board is less than or equal to 2.5mm, it is impossible to carry out any veneer. Formaldehyde emission standard : E0 E1 E2 CARB P2 etc , eg., based on other same conditions, E1 glue 's MDF is 0.4 -0.73 dollars expensive than E2'. The flame retardant effect of FR MDF of E2 is greater than that of E1's. the size is 1220*2440mm , the thickness is 3mm-18mm ,just has E1 E2 glue , and The flame retardant effect of the board depends on the flame retardant in the board rather than the dyeing agent, and the depth of the color has nothing to do with the flame retardant effect. Usually factories will choose red as flame retardant MDF.having B1-B grade ,B1-C grade,B2 grade . and its surface also can be pasted with decorative materials such as melamine inpregnated paper (solid color,wood grain color ,marble color and cloth color ),natural veneers etc

The flame retardant effect of FR is determined by the flame retardant, and the moisture-proof effect of HMR is determined by the content of the moisture-proof agent, not the dyeing agent. At the same time, paraffin and glue will have a certain moisture-proof effect.

HMR MDF is green because paraffin wax is added to the board. Paraffin wax not only makes the surface of the board smoother, but also has a moisture-proof effect. A moisture-proof agent is added to the board in a certain proportion to enhance the moisture-proof effect. Moreover, melamine glue also has a certain moisture-proof effect. Compared with ordinary MDF, the moisture-proof performance is only increased, but if the board is soaked in water for several days, the board will also be damaged to a certain extent. All wooden boards are afraid of being soaked in water for a long time. Generally, HMR MDF is usually used in places such as kitchen and bathroom, and the melamine impregnated papers on the surface have a certain blocking effect on water vapor, etc.
HMR MDF has two environmental protection grades, E1 and E1. The environmental protection grade of E1 (formaldehyde emission content)>E2, moisture-proof performance: the moisture-proof performance of HMR MDF of E2 is greater than that of E1.
Melamine board hot pressing process :
Hot pressing is a process of heating and pressing the slab after paving to form a fiber board with certain mechanical strength and water resistance. Whether it is wet production of rigid or semi-rigid boards, or dry production of rigid or medium density boards, hot pressing is required to become a board.

Product Comprision
The column on the left is our MDF, which is produced using flat pressing line equipment. The board has no burrs and the thickness and density of the board are uniform. The one on the right is MDF produced by some small factories. It usually uses some scrap materials with poor quality and is produced using multi-layer line equipment.
